More condemn Pangsha incident

Khiamniungan Tribal Council (KTC) has vehemently condemned the August 28, firing incident at ITC (DAN) under Noklak sub-division between the 23rd Assam Rifles and NSCN (K). 
In a release, KTC president P. Mongchua and executive chairman T. Khaikho Meyo said, killing of innocent civilians by taking advantage of cease-fire abrogation and breaking the ENPO peace resolution should be condemned by all right thinking citizen.
Taking a stern stand, KTC warned that no armed group should be allowed to take advantage of KTC peace zone to create problems in the Khiamniungan land. It appealed to all groups to abstain from violent activities within KTC jurisdiction. 
KTC further said it would inquire and ascertain the facts about how the incident had transpired. It extended condolences to the bereaved family members of those killed and also speedy recovery to those injured.
KU: Konyak Union (KU) while condemning the indiscriminate firing between security forces and NSCN (K), that led to killing including civilians at Pangsha on August 28 said, the unfortunate incident had created fear psychosis and disrupted the peaceful atmosphere, while Nagas are yearning for peaceful settlement of the Naga Political issues. 
In a release, KU president, S. Manlip Konyak and general secretary, Y. Hosean Konyak fervently appealed to both the security forces and the underground groups to restrain from “confrontation- assaulting” against each other especially at the public dominated zones. 
Konyak Union Tobu (B): Konyak Union Tobu Branch has condemned the “inhuman act” of security forces on August 28 at Pangsha ITC under Noklak sub-division, Tuensang, where two innocent civilians were killed. 
Konyak Union Tobu (B), president S.B. Poangba Konyak said late Yenso and late Aden from Yongkhao village were farmers, who had gone to ITC Dan to bring cattle for trading but unfortunately lost their lives in the firing. 
It urged the security forces to be more cautions in future to ensure safety of the innocent public. 
Konyak Union Tobu (B) also appealed to the state government to compensate the family members of the two deceased. Meanwhile, KU Tobu (B) expressed gratitude to Pangsha village councils both old and new, Churches, NGOs, civil administration and police for their tireless effort in retrieving the bodies of the two civilians. 
The union expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
