More organisations have condemned the June 20 sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl by six youngsters in Mon district.
LSU: Longwa Students Union said it vehemently condemn the inhumane and barbaric act and added that such act was not acceptable in any society.
In a condemnation note, LSU appealed every right-thinking citizen and civil societies to condemn the anti-social behaviour and added that such kind of social evil should not be tolerated under any circumstances.
LSU also urged the competent authority to deliver justice and award stringent punishment to all the culprits.
KNSK: Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong while vehemently condemning the sexual assault said the crime was not only committed against the victim and her family but against the womenfolk and the society.
In a condemnation note, KNSK said the incident has tarnished the good image of the Konyak society reflecting the insecure life of a women even in their own kitchen.
KNSK has appealed the law enforcing agencies for an in-depth investigation of the case.
It has urged that the culprits be awarded befitting punishment as per the law of the land and that justice was delivered to the victim in particular and the womenfolk in general.
PWYAT: Pinkhong Ward Youth Aboi Town has strongly condemned the sexual assault and added that such inhumane act cannot be tolerated in a “highly civilized society”.
In a condemnation note, Pinkhong Ward Youth Aboi Town has called upon all like minded citizens to condemn such acts and also appealed to the law enforcing agencies to impose befitting punishment to the six accused as per the law and deliver justice to the victim at the earliest.
