
TCCI members visit hospitals in Tuensang
The Tuensang Chamber of Commerce & Industries (TCCI) visited District Hospital Tuensang and Assam Rifles hospitals in the district on January 26.
During the visits, the TCCI officials fed the patients and encouraged them to have faith in God, that He would heal their sicknesses, because nothing is impossible for God. The TCCI officials also interacted with hospital authorities during the visit.
ATMA Tuensang district level exhibition
DIMAPUR: Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tuensang organised an Exhibition & Sales stall during the 70th Republic Day celebration at parade ground, Tuensang on January 26.
A press release from ATMA Tuensang stated that, altogether, three Farmer’s Interest Group (FIGs) from Chessore, Sangsangyu and Noklak blocks participated on the day.
Farmer’s awards with certificates and cash prizes were awarded to outstanding individual farmers and groups. ATMA also distributed leaflets and folders printed in local dialects on various agri and allied topics.
70th Republic Day celebrated in Sanis
DIMAPUR: Along with the rest of the country, Sanis sub-division celebrated the 70th Republic Day at Government High School, Sanis ground on January 26.
A press release issued by EAC, Sanis stated that additional deputy commissioner, Zibenthung Kithan unfurled the National Flag and delivered the Republic day message.
Other highlights of the program include presentation of cultural songs from Hajang Women Group and Khumvu women group, presentation of choreography by Sunday school children and display of cultural dance by Lotsu cultural troupe.
Later an exhibition football match was played between the government employees and citizens of Sanis town.
