Against the backdrop of an ultimatum served to power department Saksi by Saksi NAP Sector 13th ward Tuensang, Layang Shui Colony, K.T. Colony, Below Main Gate Colony and Main Gate Colony have extended their support.
In a joint press release Layang Shui Colony president Romchu Chang and K.T. Colony S. Tia Chang highlighted the inconvenience and untold hardship faced by the residents due to power failure since March 19, 2016. In this regard, the colonies have urged the power department to restore the said transformer as early as possible. In a separate joint press release, Below Main Gate Colony president Setongpi Sangtam and Main Gate Colony president K.C. Among Chang while extending support to Saksi NAP Sector Union Ward 13, said the colonies have been facing total power failure for three months.
In case of failure by the concerned department to take necessary steps to meet the demand within the served date, the colonies said that it shall be compelled to take “our own course of action, for which the concerned department shall solely be held responsible”.
