Union Minister of State for Tourism Prahlad Singh Patel has assured that his ministry would do its best to promote the rich culture and tradition of Nagas.
Addressing the cultural programme of the Hornbill Festival, Patel remarked that Nagas celebrated the festival by acknowledging the beauty of the vibrant hornbill bird, adding Nagas were beautiful and honourable like the bird. He said the festival showcased the rich cultural identity of Nagas, even as he appealed them to uphold it.
GEM Hospitals chairman Dr C Palanivelu also greeted the gathering.
