MoS Mandaviya visits Longwa

Union minister of state for Shipping (I/C) and Chemical and Fertilizers, Mansukh L Mandaviya visited Longwa under Mon district on August 30.

In a press note, Longwa Village Council (LVC) informed that the council submitted a memorandum to the minister for speedy development of International Trade Centre, public ground and proper road connection between the village and district headquarter.
The minister, who was accompanied by his wife, assured to look into their grievances with the concerned authorities.
The LVC also acknowledged  advisor Fire and Emergency RR and SIRD, Pohwang; DC Mon, SP Mon, CO 35 Assam Rifles and other dignitaries for their presence.
Later, after the departure of the minister, officials and host of well-wishers visited the drug detoxification and rehabilitation centre at Longwa and distributed food items and other materials to the wards. LVC extends expressed gratitude to all concerned for their act of kindness and generosity.
