Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma on January 5 visited Peren and reviewed the central schemes implemented by different departments under Peren district.
A DIPR report stated that at the visit the union minister also held a meeting with the officials of Peren district at DC’s Conference Hall, Peren. The minister in his address advised all departments implementing central schemes in the district to make the best use of the schemes and assured them that the centre would extend all possible assistance.
The meeting was presided by Deputy Commissioner Peren, Vineet Kumar.
At the meeting, officials from RD, PHED, Agriculture, PWD (R&B), Social Welfare, Horticulture, District Industries Centre, Health & Family Welfare, Power Department, Fisheries, Lead Bank Manager, Land Resources, and Water Resources highlighted the progress of various centrally sponsored schemes undertaken under their respective department.
Bhanu along with district administration also visited electrification project at New Market, Jalukie and Amrit Sarovar site at Punglwa Village. He also visited Punglwa ‘B’ Village and interacted with the beneficiaries of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
