Mother’s Day workshop for women police

DIMAPUR: A Mother’s Day workshop on the theme “Mother is the Foundation of a Happy Family” was conducted at the Superintendent of Police Office, Kohima, on May 7 with around 60 women police personnel from the Women Police Station, North and South Traffic Control, and SP Office participating in the interactive session.
According to PRO Kohima Police, the keynote address was delivered by Sister Rupa, director of Brahma Kumaris Rajyoga Meditation Centre, Kohima. She highlighted the central role of mothers in fostering peaceful and harmonious homes, explaining that a mother’s stress inevitably affects the entire family, while inner happiness and emotional stability radiate positive energy and create a healthy environment.
As part of the workshop, participants were divided into five groups to discuss key aspects of motherhood and family well being. Topics included mental self care practices, balancing professional and personal life, and daily disciplines that help mothers sustain happiness and harmony at home. The release informed that Sr. SP Kohima expressed gratitude for organizing the programme for police personnel and underscored the importance of conducting more mental well being sessions for both male and female staff in the future.
