Eden Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, organised a motivational session for teachers on June 21 with Dr. Maongkala Longchar, associate professor of English, Dimapur Government College, as the keynote speaker.
According to a press release, Dr. Longchar spoke on the deeper calling of the teaching profession, describing it as a spiritual responsibility that demands reflection, dedication, and service. Drawing from classical texts and scripture, she encouraged educators to focus not only on academic excellence but also on instilling values and character in students.
The programme began with an invocation and welcome address by School Management Board chairman, Dr. M. L. Ngullie, and concluded with a vote of thanks from the principal.
