The closing ceremony to honor the journey of STINER-TFC (2018-23) and the motivational talk on “Entrepreneurship – Ideas into Action” was held at Multipurpose Hall, School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS), Nagaland University, Medziphema Campus on December 8.
Dr. Mantu Bhuyan spoke about the STINER-TFC establishment motto, highlighting how a new entrepreneur could exercise their spirit of working in an accessible setup to gain production experience at a commercial or pilot level scale without investing capital costs.
Chairman of The Entrepreneur Associates, N. Doulo spoke on the necessity for an entrepreneurial mindset among students and residents of the state and emphasized that entrepreneurship was crucial for addressing the unemployment problem in the country, especially in a developing nation like India. Brief remarks were delivered by Prof. L Daiho, former Dean of SAS, NU, and Director of IQAC, Prof. K. K. Jha, a member of the monitoring committee, Khevili, a beneficiary of STINER-TFC, and Rokosieno Zao, a former staff member of STINER-TFC and, a vote of thanks by Bikram Ghimere, Project Assistant at STINER-TFC.
Prof. Akali Sema, Pro-vice Counselor, SAS, NU, and also the Project In-charge of STINER-TFC shared the journey of STINER-TFC.
It may be noted that STINER-TFC has been organizing diverse training sessions and workshops across Nagaland to promote entrepreneurship.
