A felicitation programme was held for successful candidates of the HSLC examination 2018 from Mount Zion School, Kushiabil on May 26. Out of the seven candidates who appeared for the examination, six qualified and four students secured distinctions in English.
Headmaster of the school, Chumjamo Lotha, chairperson of the school managing board, Dr. Mhabeni Ezung, teachers, and well-wishers appreciated and encouraged the students at the felicitation programme. According to a press release from the headmaster, distinction holders and the subject teacher, Thanngamla were rewarded with cash awards sponsored by Dr. Mhabeni Ezung, W.Y Kithan and the school authority.
The programme ended with a thanksgiving prayer by senior associate pastor of Lotha Baptist Church Purana Bazaar, Rev A K Jami.
