Under the Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North Eastern Region (MOVCD-NER) phase-II program, department of Agriculture, SDAO Chozuba, Phek district conducted training programs on organic farming practices in cluster areas on November 6 and 7.
A press release by SDAO Chozuba, Thepusa Nakro stated that training was conducted at Chozuba village and Sekruzu RD training hall. Keynote address was given by Thepusa Nakro, SDAO Chozuba.
EAC, Sekruzu encouraged the organic farmers on the importance and scope of organic farming in Nagaland and future prospects. Resource persons, Mhalevilie Thorie, AI, Chozuba, and Manjai Phom, agriculture demonstrator, Spice Board of India stressed on the topic “Organic farming”, “Production and post harvest technologies of Ginger-Organic approach” and “Production and post harvest technologies of Large Cardamom”.
