MOKOKCHUNG, JUN 7 (NPN): Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) observed its 18th foundation day on June 6 by planting cherry blossom trees along the NH 702D (Mongsenbai Road stretch) in Mokokchung town, continuing a beautification initiative that began in 2018.
As part of the programme, members planted saplings along the highway stretch to promote environmental conservation and enhance the visual appeal of what was once a deserted section of road. The initiative aims to make the area greener while encouraging public awareness on conservation and urban beautification in Mokokchung.
