MSME PIC centre launched in Tuensang and Shamator

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Council of India Office and Training Centre was launched at St. John Sector A, Tuensang and Cultural Hall, Shamator Town on March 22 and 20, 2025.


Speaking at the launching programme at Tuensang, Deputy Commissioner, Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa congratulated the PCI State official on opening the much-needed MSME PCI office & training centre in Tuensang. She pointed out that there are many entrepreneurs in the district who have good craftsmanship and skills but are not registered, leading to failure in government and financial institutions’ aid.


She therefore encouraged the ward coordinator and village coordinators to play an important role in materialising the MSME PCI objectives.


She also encouraged the gathering to make use of the office. State chairman, MSME PCI Nagaland, Lanuakum Jamir, highlighted the objective of MSME PCI. He also explained in detail why many entrepreneurs fail to succeed, and what can be done to avoid hiccups as the business progresses.


Short speeches were also delivered from empanelled institutions, C Chamroy chief manager SBI Tuensang and Khumchopi Functional Manager, District Industries Centre. Welcome address was delivered by Puchio District chairman, MSME Tuensang.


Shamator: The launching programme of the office of the MSME Promotion Council of India was held at Cultural Hall, Shamator Town on March 20.


According to DIPR report, State chairman of MSME, PCI Nagaland, Lanuakum Jamir said that the district office will pave the way to development and will make channels between farmers and public.

He urged the village authority to co-operate with the district office highlighting that the main objective of the office is to provide unemployed youth to get job opportunities through schemes and loans. The programme was chaired by District MSME PCI, Shamator, Tharila.
