MSU holds general session and literary competition

Mesulumi Students Union (MSU) held its 60th general session-cum-literary competition under the theme “S³: Size, Shape, Shine”, on December 22, at Village Community Hall. A press release by Mesulumi Students Union informed that the occasion was graced by, Registrar, Motor Vehicles department, Toholi Mero, as special guest.


In her speech, she emphasized on the theme noting that “size” denotes increase in student community from past to present, “shape” denotes leaders and students shaping the union in the past, present and in the future, while “shine”, denotes a positive outcome in the future, which when put together will benefit the community enormously.


She encouraged students to maintain consistency and work hard to become exemplary leaders to lead the future generation and advised them to not indulge in bad habits. She reminded that “survival of the fittest” was a reality noting that perseverance, dedication and hard work, was needed to succeed in life. The first session was followed by Literary Competition where six units competed, which was followed by Musical Extravaganza.
