The XVII edition of the Music Fest got underway Thursday at the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBC)organized by the MTBA CYE. The Fest is being held under the theme “Peace Express” with around 50 different groups and individuals participating in the fest. The Fest was graced by DC Mokokchung Bendangkokba as the Guest of Honor. The DC in his speech stressed about the importance and relevance of the theme at present in the state. He also wished that the “Peace Express” be taken to all around the state so that Peace prevails in the land. He also called upon the youngsters to become an instrument of peace and to spread the message.
The fest also witnessed the presentation of different kinds of songs, musical plays and worship songs.
