MTLT condemns raid atAKM official’s residence

Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem (MTLT) has strongly condemned the “cowards wearing masks” that conducted an unwarranted raid at the residence of the Ao Students Conference (AKM) official on November 28 night.

In a press note, MTLT president Imnaonen Pongen and general secretary Imkongchuba Pongen said that such raid, without legal sanction and proper identification, shall not be tolerated in Mokokchung town.

Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem asserted that it will not allow such random house raids in and around Mokokchung town.
It said that a fear psychosis has been created during festive season, which has vitiated the congenial atmosphere because of such unwanted incidents.

While cautioning that it would not compromise the safety and security of the town, MTLT demanded that any group or ograization, if involved in this incident, should come clean and own responsibility.

Further, Mokokchung Town Lanur Telongjem has urged the competent authority to take necessary action immediately.
