Mudslide triggered by incessant rains during the past two days, caused road blockade that prevented vehicular movement along the NH 29 section between Tsiepama and Piphema Wednesday.
Around a hundred vehicles on both sides of the mudslide affected road were stranded for several hours till NHIDCL cleared the path for a one-way traffic at around 7 p.m. Police sources said efforts are on to restore normal movement of vehicles. Motorists travelling along the route have been advised to be aware during heavy rain.
