NSCN (IM) ato kilonser, Th. Muivah, was admitted to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) here Friday for treatment of intestinal problem.
Muivah’s trip to CIHSR fuelled much speculations about his health status. When contacted, a senior NSCN(I-M) functionary informed Nagaland Post that the ato kilonser was airlifted to be taken to CIHSR for “routine health check up”. The source said Muivah was airlifted as it was “not advisable for him to travel by road at his age” from Hebron all the way to CIHSR. However, on landing at the airport, Muivah was able to walk to a waiting ambulance to be taken to CIHSR.
Doctors at CIHSR said Muivah was admitted for intestinal problem and various tests were being conducted before treatment was given.
The sources also said that Muivah’s vital parameters were stable and that he was under medical supervision.
It may be mentioned that Th. Muivah had earlier been admitted to CIHSR on July 24, 2021 following complaints of uneasiness and discharged on August 2, 2021
