NSCN (I-M) has clarified that the budget document circulating on Facebook and WhatsApp regarding the expenditure for the ato kilonser’s proposed home visit was “fictitious.”
In a statement issued by the MIP, NSCN (I-M) termed the circulation of such a document as utterly absurd, stating that neither the NSCN nor the concerned committee would ever produce or publicly disclose such a budget.
Stating that the misinformation appeared to be a deliberate tactic employed by adversaries with malicious intentions, NSCN (I-M) categorically denied having prepared any such budget for the ato kilonser’s home visit, which is scheduled for October 22, 2025.
As reported, NSCN (I-M) ato kilonser Th. Muivah is scheduled to visit his native Somdal village in Ukhrul district after five decades.
NSCN (I-M) dismisses rumours of division
In a separate statement, NSCN (I-M) has clarified that the Eastern Flank and Hebron camp remain as “a solid body”, dismissing as false the rumours being circulated on social media suggesting otherwise.
In a clarification issued through its MIP, NSCN (I-M) said that undesirable elements were resorting to miserable games for vested interests.
