The Moya village council (MVC) along with the general public of Moya village had initiated and carried out the soiling work stretching the road along Likimro
Hydro Electric Project (LHEP), the second largest electricity in the state (24 MW).
Chairman village council Moya, K. Tsalimong Yimchungru, expressed dismay over the negligence of road by the concerned power department and government for the past many years, thus causing untold hardship and problems being confronted by the rural people, which has also become un motorable for the commuters and general public in the area.
Tsalimong further pleaded the government to maintain the road regularly, if this road was really meant for the department and government project. During the maintenance of road along the LHEP, the chairman village council , Moya K. Tsalimong Yimchungru and head GB Moya M. Thsesong had donated their vehicles and carried out the work to fill up the potholes and other maintenance of the road for the benefit of the area people. The village council has also lauded the general public for their social service rendered towards the improvement of the road.
