MVYO condemns Sep 19 firing incident

Medziphema Village Youth Organisation (MVYO) has vehemently condemned the alleged firing upon two trucks by some miscreants on September 19 at Medziphema.

In a condemnation note, MVYO president Neichüvotsolie Nagi and general secretary Pelevituo Kuotsu said the organisation was exasperated and deeply irked by the incident.

MVYO said the recurrent efforts of the organisation in maintaining a peaceful and harmonious co-existence within its jurisdiction has been blatantly invaded upon.

Stating that MVYO would not allow any anti-social activities in its area, the organisation cautioned that it would lay hold of anyone indulging in such activities and austere penalisation would be incurred.

Further, the organisation has appealed to the administration and the police department to book those responsible and bring justice at the earliest.
