In commemoration of its 25 years, Mulujempong Zünga Soyim (MZS) organized Covid -19 sensitization programme at BABU Tzübu Amphitheatre, Ungma on September 4.
Addressing the participants, ZLO & Nodal Officer DMHP Mokokchung, Dr. Temsuyanger, lauded the achievement of 90% vaccination at Ungma and encouraged to strive for 100% vaccination.
He added that Ungma village will be an example to the neighbouring as well as villages across the district.
He also presented data in connection to Covid infection, death, recovery in Mokokchung district and the effectiveness of Covid vaccine. He further highlighted on the SOP in relation to dead body handling and encouraged strict observance of SOP in their day to day activities, even after vaccination.
Meanwhile, Chief Veterinary Officer, Mokokchung,Dr. B.M Sunep, spoke on “How to stay healthy” based on health is wealth. He also spoke on the importance of cultural values, world view- secular/geo-Christian view and its contribution to staying healthy. The programme was attended by representatives of village council, churches and NGOs.
