The Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire, on January 17 held a National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) consultation meet with AG Samuel, Assistant Professor & HOD Political Science and Steering Committee member NAAC Patkai Christian College (autonomous), as the resource person and discussed various aspects of NAAC at its college auditorium.
Speaking at the introductory session, Dr Anungla Aier, Principal of Zisaji Presidency College, expressed gratitude to the resource person and said the consultation meet would help the faculties and staff of ZPC a lot for NAAC assessment.
Principal also asked the faculties to make use of the consultation meet to clarify their doubts so that they might learn more about NAAC from the resource person.
AG Samuel, while speaking at the consultation meet, touched on the various aspects of NAAC such as its key aspects, weightage and also the role of students in NAAC assessment.
The resource person said to make NAAC assessment or any developmental activities happen in the college, everyone should know how to work in team and also added that differences of opinion might come up in any organization but that differences should be for the progress of the institution and one should not take it personal.
He also lauded the faculties and the staff for producing best results among various government colleges in the state in recent years and also encouraged to carry on with the same responsibilities, dedication and commitment.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ketoukhireu, Co-ordinator NAAC ZPC, in which she expressed gratitude to the resource person for availing his time to have consultation meet on National Assessment Accreditation Council with the ZPC staff and faculties. She has asked the resource person to give suggestions on NAAC assessment even in the days ahead.
