Daylong sensitization program on formation and functioning of Self Help Group (SHG) and for smooth and effective participation of the people at village level field staff of Land Resources, Dimapur was conducted by National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) at its conference hall May 8.
Watershed Development Team (WDT) members participated at the programme.
Topics such as functioning of SHGs, system of trainings to be conducted, book keeping, SHG assessment and also linkage of SHG to bank were covered by resource person, deputy general manager NABARD Dimapur, Tiakala.
Credit system for SHG such as bank loans and JLG, which is a credit group outside the SHG group were also highlighted for the benefit of the SHGs.
