Niuland Area Citizens’ Forum (NACF) has expressed serious concern over the poor condition of the Atu Ghoki (Zubza) Bridge, which serves as the only lifeline connecting Niuland district headquarters.
In a press release, NACF president Kakishe Shikhu and press secretary Soul Sema stated that repeated appeals have been made to the concerned department, but no concrete action has been taken so far.
The forum noted that the structural integrity of the bridge has deteriorated over time due to both human and natural causes, posing a major risk to commuters and heavy vehicles.
Niuland Area Citizens’ Forum has once again urged the authorities to take immediate steps to repair and restore the bridge to prevent any possible tragedy and to ensure continued safe connectivity for the people of Niuland.
