Northern Angami Christian Revival Youth Fellowship (NACRYF) will be organising the 6th Triennial Music Fest on January 7, 2024, at Capital Cultural Hall, to be hosted by the Christian Revival Church, Kohima Village.
The one day music fest will be held under theme, ‘Let everything that has breath praise the Lord’, Psalms 150:6.
Informing this at a press conference at the host church premises here Wednesday, president, NACRYF, Pelevotuo Solo, informed a total of 28 churches will be taking part in the fest.
He also informed that around 1500 youth delegates were expected to converge during the festival.
Solo said through the fest the association aims to reignite the faith of the youths through music. From among the 28 churches, around 2 to 3 churches will clubbed together to make up one choir and form a total of 10 choirs with around 100 members each.
Around 15 songs including choral, solos, duets and quartets will be presented during the two services. The service will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. respectively for the morning and evening services and will be telecasted live on Youtube.
Meanwhile the organisers have invited neighbouring churches to come and be part of the event which will be free entry.
