Naga Club has informed that the centenary monolith finally reached its sacred ground on Monday and firmly set on the pedestal to be given a final touch-up and unveiled during the main event as one of the greatest landmarks in the history of Naga people.
In this regard, the club expressed profound gratitude to the people of Jotsoma village in particular and all Naga people in general for providing a secure and very congenial atmosphere for successful hosting of the centenary celebration scheduled on Thursday.
In a statement issued by the publicity committee of centenary celebrations, Naga Club also appreciated and expressed gratitude to elders of Naga tribes who had taken over their assigned responsibilities on being entrusted as advisers to its office bearers.
Meanwhile, the club has invited one and all for committed participation in creating yet another Naga history through the centenary celebrations.
