Nagaland: Naga dart players to play at international championships

Four Naga dart players would be taking part in various national and international championships across the globe in the next three months. In a press release, Nagaland Darts Association informed that the players led by veteran player Lima Longchar along with Neiketou Suohu, Kezha Semou and Vikehelie Suohu would be vying for the slot to represent India at the PDC World Darts Championship to be held in London and PDD Malaysia Open Championship in Kuala Lampur. Both events would be played in December 2023. Besides, they would also be taking part in the India National championship.


The team would also be taking part in Indian Darts Federation – National Championship 2023, PDD Malaysia Open Championship-India Qualifier and PDC World Darts Championship 2023-India Qualifier, scheduled on October 28 and 29, 2023 in Chennai.


According to NDA secretary Burakum Ao, the players are self-sponsored besides a few well-wishers generously contributed towards their participation at the high tier both in India and abroad.


NDA has held their Annual Championship and conducted year-long monthly league match in collaboration with the team Dynamic School of Darts, Kohima as a run up preparation to this ultimate darts’ event of the country, Burakum informed.
