Naga entrepreneur attends Intl Visitors Leadership Program

Imliben Lemtur, proprietor of Monalisa Business Solutions, Dimapur was selected from north east and eastern India as one of the participant out of four from India for the International Visitors Leadership Program(IVLP) in Washington, DC, along with Arun Yellamaty from Hyderabad, Aniket Doegar from Shimla, Radhika Ganesh from Chennai.
In a press release, Imliben Lemtur informed that the program was being sponsored by the U.S. Department of State for a 3-week group project entitled “Youth and Civic Engagement – Youth Activism”. The program highlights U.S. efforts to reach out to youth populations to promote economic growth and stable democratic institutions.
Lemtur stated that the participants in the three-week visit will examine strategies to facilitate youth political participation, small business development, civil society expansion and grassroots engagement.
