Chümoukedima is set to come alive with music as Naga Nights gears up to host a major live event titled “The Last Summer” on September 12 at the NEZCC complex. The concert will feature a stellar line-up of 10 artists, blending celebrated local names with emerging talents.
It was announced in a press conference held Wednesday, at Viva Complex, Chümoukedima, by Naga Nights business consultant, Huto I. Assumi.
Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, Assumi emphasized that while Nagaland is brimming with raw talent, many artists lack platforms to showcase their craft. “What Naga Nights aims to do is provide that very stage where these talents can shine and be celebrated,” he said.
He further noted that while festivals like Hornbill offer a glimpse into Nagaland’s rich culture, there are fewer opportunities dedicated to promoting contemporary and upcoming performers. “That is exactly why Naga Nights is organizing this event, ‘The Last Summer 2025,’ to let talents be explored and recognized,” Assumi explained.
Describing the symbolic name, he added, “The best time for a star to shine is at night. Through Naga Nights, every talent will be given a chance to sparkle bright in the sky of creativity.”
The family-friendly concert will kick off at 3 PM, with tickets priced at Rs. 499 for the general public and Rs. 299 for students. The stage will feature crowd favorites like Polar Lights, JPollnd, Since 90s, Gideon, and DJ Teja, along with several fresh local acts making their debut. Tickets will also be available at the venue.
