Naga street food vendors invited for national fest in Delhi

The Street Vendors Association Nagaland (SVAN) has invited street food vendors from across the state to apply for an opportunity to represent Nagaland at the National Street Food Festival to be held in New Delhi on December 18 and 19.
The festival is being organised by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) and will provide selected vendors an opportunity to showcase traditional Naga cuisine and culinary skills on a national platform.
According to Street Vendors Association Nagaland, selected participants will be provided free transportation and lodging for the duration of the festival.
Interested vendors are required to possess and produce valid copies of an FSSAI licence, Street Vending ID Card and Street Vending Certificate issued by the respective Town Vending Committee (TVC).
The association said selection will be based on the applicants’ cooking experience and culinary expertise.
The screening and evaluation process will be conducted by SVAN at its head office in Dimapur.
Eligible vendors interested in applying have been requested to visit the SVAN head office in Dimapur along with the required documents.
