Nagaland 3 escaped UTPs rearrested in Mokokchung

Mokokchung police under the supervision of senior superintendent of police Mokokchung, Vesupra Kezo, rearrested the three escaped under trial prisoners (UTP) on Friday. The three UTPs charged with kidnap and murder case had escaped from the jail on October 30 morning. There had been transferred to district jail Mokokchung from district jail, Wokha in August 2025.
The trio were nabbed from Milak river valley, at around 4 pm with assistance from Chungtia villagers. Police and villagers were on high alert, when some fishermen alerted that the trio were spotted in the river valley on October 30 evening.
