Christian Education Department of Rongmei Baptist Church Association Nagaland (RBCAN) concluded its 3rd Children Fest 2025 under the theme “World Changers” (Matthew 5:14) at Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church, New Jalukie, Peren, from December 16 to 18. The three-day programme was marked by spiritually enriching, creative, and joyful activities for children from various churches under the Association.
The Fest commenced with a flag hoisting ceremony conducted by Rev. Mathiuthai Gonmei, executive secretary, who also delivered the inaugural message encouraging children to grow in faith, discipline, and Christian values. The opening spotlight was presented by the CE department of Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church. The evening programme featured guest artiste Bamile Pame, while the contemporary worship night included an inspiring message from Giluanang Pamei, pastor of RBC Jalukie Town.
On the second day, Kelesha Kent, CE director, RBCBC Dimapur, led the devotion hour. A vibrant choral competition was held, showcasing children’s talents through the hymn “God of Boundless Might.” The host church, CE department of Elohim Rongmei Baptist Church, secured the first position, while CE department RBC Samziuram and CE department RBC Kohima bagged the second and third positions respectively. Jaojiangailiu Gonmei of CE department RBC Samziuram was adjudged best choir conductor. The evening Worship and Talent Night featured young performers, with Gaimunrei Gonmei, pastor of RBC Mhainamtsi, exhorting children to use their God-given talents with dedication and discipline.
On the final day, Ganchuimei Gonmei, women secretary, RBCAN, delivered the devotion message. The closing programme was led by Aguipou Kamei, vice president, RBCAN, as speaker, and enriched by a soulful performance from guest artiste Mayori Phinao. The Fest concluded with the de-hoisting of the flag and a moving mass closing hymn “God of Boundless Might” sung by the combined choir of all participating churches.
