Advisor, department of social welfare, Wangpang Konyak, condoled the unfortunate demise of retired secretary, Law & Justice, Late Ngamjok Konyak, who passed away on October 24, at CIHSR, after a prolonged illness.
A condolence message by the Advisor stated that Late Konyak was one of the prominent figures hailing from Longkei village and one of the few officers who excelled in his profession and retired in a high position under the government of Nagaland.
With his passing, he stated that the Konyak community, in particular, and Nagas in general, have lost a tall figure, whose absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
“His remarkable contributions and lasting legacy as a father, an officer, and a pioneer, will be fondly remembered and deeply missed”, the message stated.
Wangpang Konyak also expressed heartfelt homage to the departed soul, and expressed condolence to the bereaved family members and loved ones.
He prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
