Nagaland: Age relaxation for entry into govt services

State government, in supersession of all its notifications regarding prescribed age limits, has notified relaxed age limits to enter into government service.


An office memorandum (OM) from the personnel & administrative reforms (PA&R) department notified that for Group D, the minimum was 18 years and maximum 32 years while for Group A, B and C, the minimum was 21 years and maximum 32 years.


OM also notified age relaxation for Scheduled Tribe (ST) by 5 years (upper age limit of 37 years) while for government employees, the relaxation was equal to years of service served subject to a maximum of 5 years. OM would come into effect from October 9, 2024.
