Nagaland: Aiponger Baptist Church celebrates Platinum Jubilee

Aiponger Baptist Church of Yimkhiung Baptist Borü Amukhungto (YBBA) under Shamator District celebrated Platinum Jubilee from January 9-10, under the theme “Celebrating the Gospel Freedom.”
The Jubilee Monolith was dedicated and unveiled by executive secretary, YBBA, Rev. Dr. S.J. Akhum. With this milestone, Aiponger Baptist Church has become the third church within the Yimkhiung community to attain Platinum Jubilee status. The Jubilee speakers were pastor of Yimkhiung Baptist Church (YBC) Dimapur, Rev. Dr. Athsan, and Rev. Dr. S.J. Akhum.
The celebrations were held under the leadership of pastor of the church, Rev. Hetozü, head GB Holen, , and council chairman, Yanjikhiung.
The event witnessed the participation of churches and individuals under YBBA, invitees from neighbouring Sumi villages of Ngozübo and Zhehishe, and more than 600 Aiponger citizens residing outside the village.
