Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has extended appreciation to Mokokchung traffic police for their initiative in conducting liquor tests on drivers of passenger vehicles.
In a press release, AKM vice president Onenpong and general secretary Satemmongba said the step was commendable as it ensured passenger safety and helped curb incidents of drunk driving, reflecting a strong commitment to public safety.
As the festive season approaches, AKM reminded all travelers to prioritize responsible driving and refrain from rash driving, which endangers both personal safety and the wellbeing of others on the road.
