Nagaland: All India bank strike on Jan 27

DIMAPUR, JAN 21 (NPN)

United Forum of Bank Unions consisting of nine Unions of bank employees and officers have issued the call for all India bank strike on January 27, 2026.
In a press release, All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) general secretary Rupam Roy informed that around eight lakh bank employees and officers working in public sector banks, private sector banks, foreign banks, regional rural banks and co-op. banks would join the proposed strike. The demands include approval of the government for implementation of five-day work week in banking industry.
