Nagaland ANCSU to hold 22nd Biennial General Conference at Jalukie

The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) is set to host its 22nd Biennial General Conference from October 27 to 29, 2025 at St. Xavier College, Jalukie, Peren, under the theme “Leadership & Social Responsibility.”
The seminar-oriented conference will feature brainstorming sessions and discussions on key topics including Narcotic and Psychotropic Pharmaceutical Regulations in Nagaland, substance abuse, Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation 1873 (ILP), HIV & AIDS, and employment opportunities in Japan. Resource persons from various professional backgrounds will participate.
The union, which represents college students across Nagaland, is expected to host around 1000 delegates from 40 affiliated and associate colleges, along with invited guests. Six sessions will be held during the conference, with dignitaries including minister of Power & Parliamentary Affairs K.G. Kenye, Deputy Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang, minister of Tourism & Higher Education Temjen Imna Along, Commissioner of Police Dimapur Aotula T. Imchen, DC Peren Hiazu Meru, and former ANCSU president Vilhousielie Kenguruse addressing the students in various capacities.
Resource persons will include ILRC chairman Senchumo (NSN) Lotha, Drugs Control Officer Boto Sema, KRIPA Foundation director Abou Mere, DISHA Peren ICTC supervisor Pauheugau Rangkau, and a representative from IDAN. NSF president Mteisung Heraang and ZSUN president Adaube Hiekha Hau will also convey greetings.
On October 29, the “Miss ANCSU 2025” beauty pageant will be held to showcase student talent. Judges will include Eli Veineinem Singson Haolai (Miss Nagaland 2014), Eli Nikali K Shohe (Miss Nagaland 1st Runner Up 2024), and Eli Linokali Achumi (Miss Earth Nagaland 2023). The conference will also feature the ANCSU General Elections for the 2025–2027 tenure.
