Nagaland announces ‘Ticket to Hornbill’ ahead of 26th Hornbill Festival

The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) has officially announced the 26th edition of the Hornbill Music Festival, set to take place in the month of December. This year’s celebration kicks off with the launch of “Ticket to Hornbill”, India’s biggest band battle, offering a grand prize pool of ₹4 million.
Open to bands from India and across the globe, Ticket to Hornbill invites artists to register and compete for a coveted chance to perform at the iconic Hornbill Music Festival stage. The event of Ticket to Hornbill is scheduled to take place from October 16-18 at Kohima.
Speaking at the announcement, TaFMA chairman Theja Meru expressed gratitude to Bhikharam Chandmal for coming on board as the Presenter for this year’s event. He emphasized the critical role of private sector participation.
Meru also extended thanks to the Department of Tourism, Nagaland for their continued support, Sennheiser, the Audio Partner, and Coca-Cola as the Official Beverage Partner.
