Nagaland: Anti-rabies vaccination camp at Tseminyu

DIMAPUR

Office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Tseminyu conducted a free anti-rabies vaccination campaign at Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) office premises at Tseminyu on February 2, 2026 with the objective of preventing rabies and safeguarding public health.
According to DIPR report, the campaign was organised under ASCAD 2024-25, implemented during 2025-2026. During the campaign, a total of 145 dogs were vaccinated free of cost. The free anti-rabies vaccination campaign was conducted by Dr. Gwathonlo Tsela, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Tseminyu and his team.
