Nagaland Ao autobiographical novel ‘Sungdongzung Nung’ released

An autobiographical novel in Ao dialect titled “Sungdongzung Nung”, authored by Jonglemdong Longkumer, joint director (Retd), was released on November 10 at the Conference Hall of Ao Riju by Rev. Prof. Rongsen Lkr, chairman, Ao Riju.
The release programme was marked by a dedicatory prayer offered by K. Meren, pastor of Kumlong Baptist Church. Speaking at the event, Rev. Prof. Rongsen Lkr commended the author’s contribution to Ao literature and cultural preservation through personal storytelling.
The author, Jonglemdong Longkumer, had earlier published a collection of poems titled Pentongteper Sangru, one of which has been included in the B.A. curriculum, reflecting the literary value of his work. Priced at Rs. 250, Sungdongzung Nung will be available at the Ao Riju office.
The book is expected to resonate with readers for its introspective narrative and cultural depth.
