The four-day 39th Youth Fellowship Ao Council NCRC Convention concluded on January 11 at Ao Christian Revival Church (ACRC), Dimapur, under the theme “Tanela Temeshi asen mezüng senmang” (Ephesians 1:14). Around 200 youth delegates from Ao Revival Churches under NCRC participated in the convention.
The concluding service featured a sermon by missionary to the Himalayan Region, Rev. Ayang, who spoke on “Ochi nung jajang” (Walk in Truth) based on John 16:13. He urged the youth to live lives rooted in spiritual honesty and obedience to the Holy Spirit, remarking, “The Holy Spirit is the question paper and the flesh is the answer paper.” He reminded the congregation that the human body has been redeemed at a great cost, referring to the nail marks of Christ as the price of His sacrifice.
Highlighting the mission of the Church, Rev. Ayang cautioned that a church which does not actively seek the lost risks losing its purpose. He called upon believers to move beyond comfort and tradition, to engage with those spiritually distant, and to walk in truth by aligning life and service with God’s will.
The service concluded with prayers of dedication, encouraging youth to return to their churches and communities with integrity and mission-minded service.
During the four-day convention, Ao Christian Revival Church Dimapur senior pastor, Rev. Dr. Imchayanger, also spoke on the theme. A dialogue session on “Inception and Doctrines of NCRC” was conducted by NCRC Ao Kohima pastor, Toshi Imchen, with Revival Church Mokokchung Town assistant pastor, Mayangchaba Ao, as moderator.
Praise and worship sessions were led by NCRCYF Mokokchung Town, while prayer leadership was provided by Ao Council NCRC evangelist, Tsüktilemla, and NCRC Ao Kohima associate pastor (women), Alemla Jamir, assisted by ACRC Dimapur women’s prayer group. Choir presentations included ACRC Dimapur, NCRCYF Alichen, NCRCYF Mokokchung Town, NCRC Ao Kohima Youth Fellowship and NCRCYF CTN Town Centre.
Earlier, the programme was led by Longmatula, with a song presentation by Revival Kentener Telok, Dimapur. Closing remarks were delivered by Wati Longkumer, convener of the Convention Planning Committee, while vote of thanks was proposed by Youth Fellowship Ao Council NCRC executive chairman, Wapangrenba.
