The historic bond between the Ao and Chang communities, built on mutual respect, love, and understanding of each other’s culture, customs, traditions, and polity, has been reaffirmed through a joint declaration.
The joint declaration was jointly signed by Ao Senden president Marsanen Imsong and Chang Khulei Setshang president N.Y. Choba Chang.
“Today, for posterity, we solemnly resolve to carry forward our Brotherhood into the realm of peace, progress, prosperity and advancement of our two communities trusting in Almighty God’s abundant wisdom and blessings,” the declaration stated.
