Nagaland: AR celebrate Pre-Christmas in Kohima

Assam Rifles celebrated the spirit of Christmas with programmes held at Kohima, spreading messages of love, peace and goodwill among students and the local community.
ARPS KOHIMA: Assam Rifles Public School (ARPS), Kohima, organised a Pre-Christmas Celebration on December 22 at its campus. The programme began with a special morning assembly featuring carols and prayers, followed by choir performances, skits on the birth of Jesus Christ, and dances promoting compassion, sharing and harmony.
A message on the significance of Christmas was delivered, emphasising unity, kindness and moral values. The Principal extended festive greetings, commended the dedication of students and teachers, and encouraged them to uphold values of love, discipline and service. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets, leaving participants with cherished memories and reinforcing the spirit of joy and brotherhood.
KOHIMA VILLAGE: Assam Rifles also organised a pre-christmas celebration for the Gaon Burahs of Kohima village, reaffirming its close bond with the local community. The event reflected the spirit of Christmas and the enduring relationship between the force and the people of Nagaland.
