She provided a brief background on the Department’s research initiatives that led to the publication of three major works and outlined the plan to install four interactive kiosks at the State Museum, Kohima. She informed that Take One Production House has been entrusted with documenting indigenous games, folk songs and dances of various Naga tribes for the kiosks, which will serve as an important tool for conserving and disseminating intangible cultural heritage.
The Publisher’s Note was delivered by Editor-in-Chief of 6th Finger Publishers, Sentinaro Longkumer who spoke on the collaborative process of transforming research into accessible publications contributing to Naga studies.
The event also featured short addresses by the authors, followed by the formal release of four publications: Studies on Naga Oral Traditions, Volume I and Volume II by Dr. Anungla Aier, released by Secretary Art & Culture Bodeno S.
