Nagaland: Arunachal entrepreneurs shine at Hornbill Festival

State partner Arunachal Pradesh set up their stall at the Kisama Heritage, displaying their accessories, rice wine, postcards, traditional wears, tribal foods, etc., at one of the entrances of the festival.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, resident tourism officer, department of tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Adong Moyong, highlighted that they were Delighted to be participating in and partnering with the state of Nagaland in the 26th Hornbill Festival.
She mentioned a tribe in their state called the Wancho tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, which is neighboured by the Konyak tribe, and that they share many similarities in culture, tradition, and style, making them feel more connected and one with Nagaland.
When asked, she also highlighted the Protected Area Permit (PAP) issue of Arunachal Pradesh, stating that it was more relaxed in their state than in Nagaland.
She further added that the Hornbill Festival was a great platform for Arunachal Pradesh and extended her gratitude to all stakeholders supporting and promoting them. Seven entrepreneurs and a few members from the Tourism Department Arunachal are at Kisama for the festival.
She was all praise for the Nagaland Hornbill Festival and celebrated their collaborations.
