Nagaland Awareness camp held at NTA camp Jakhama

DIMAPUR

An awareness program was held at Naga Territorial Army (NTA) Camp, Jakhama.
A press release stated that Dr. Keneilhoulie Medom called on Territorial Army to act as frontline defence against drug trafficking.
Highlighting the camp’s strategic location between the Golden Triangle and Golden Crescent drug routes, he urged a united stand to check influx of drugs at key entry points such as Khuzama and Moa Gate.
He further directed those struggling with addiction to OST Centre at Jakhama PHC, sharing success stories of Opioid Substitution Therapy and offering medical support.
The release stated that Col. JP Singh emphasized role of willpower and Army’s commitment to a drug-free society. Program Manager, Hoketozo Kirha, later outlined available HIV prevention services.
