Nagaland: Ayushman Bharat Health camp held at Kohima Village

The Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Kohima, in collaboration with the District Implementation Unit (DIU) AB-PMJAY and all empanelled hospitals, organized the Ayushman Bharat Health Check-Up Camp at Kohima Village Primary Health Centre (PHC), on Saturday.


According to a DIPR report, the event was part of the “Ayushman Pakhwada” celebration, marking the 6th anniversary of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).


Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Imchatoshi highlighted the significance of the 6th anniversary of AB-PMJAY. He encouraged all beneficiaries to take full advantage of the healthcare services provided under the scheme. Meselhoulie Rame also spoke on behalf of the Kohima Village PHC, emphasizing the community’s support for the initiative.


The Village Chairman and other colleagues were present to witness the camp, which offered a range of services including general health check-ups, non-communicable disease (NCD) screenings for diabetes and hypertension, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, dental procedures, AYUSH consultations, and enrolment in the AB-PMJAY/CMHIS schemes.


The district team, led by AB-PMJAY Nodal Officer, Kohima, Dr. Imchatoshi oversaw the camp. More than 58 beneficiaries availed the health services offered during the event.
